Drama

At Platform we know the challenges and rewards that exist in the theatre and believe it is extremely important to gain a varied and comprehensive experience. We understand that actors must be able to work in every branch of the industry, from television to stage, Shakespeare to Musical Theatre.

Each term drama classes have a focus to develop and produce performance skills which in turn deliver performance outcomes in a variety of theatre forms such as musicals, pantomimes or dramatic plays. Whatever the genre, working on script or devising drama, we teach skills and give our students the tools to explore performance work that will develop them beyond their own expectations in confidence and ability.

Each year we produce a large production Musical Show, with more than one cast in order to give more opportunity for our learners to experience leading roles.
